"Junior Auxiliary represents a serious endeavor on the part of women to be active and constructive community participants and to assume leadership roles in meeting community needs. Junior Auxiliary provides the member with the opportunity to serve and to be a vital part of the community. The objectives of the Association are to unite in one body all Junior Auxiliary Chapters and members to promote National and individual Chapter purposes; to encourage members to render charitable services which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children; to cooperate with other Charitable 501 (c)(3) organizations."

Junior Auxiliary is a national non-profit organization that encourages members to render charitable services, which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children! Junior Auxiliary provides the member with the opportunity to serve and to be a vital part of the community.
The Tate-Panola Chapter was chartered by a group of caring, enthusiastic women in 2005 and continues to grow and thrive throughout Tate and Panola Counties. Volunteers work tirelessly throughout the year on a variety of projects that focus on local children and families in need of assistance. Our members include women (over the age of 21) living within the Tate County and Northern Panola County area.
Tate-Panola is a part of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA), a non-profit organization founded in 1941 with Headquarters in Greenville, MS. NAJA has more than 14,000 active, associate and life members in 101 chapters in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
