The ladies of the Junior Auxiliary of Tate – Panola are well under way in planning their First
Annual Charity Ball event, which is the non-profit organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Many needy children and families in the Tate County and North Panola County area look to the chapter to provide for some of their most basic needs - whether it be Christmas presents, Thanksgiving dinner, dresses for Prom, or pencils and paper for school. This formal event promises to be a fun way for community members to get involved and lend their support! Junior Auxiliary hopes that as many people as possible will join them for the Ball. This year the theme will be a “Mardi Gras Masquerade”, complete with Cajun cuisine by Blooming Bites and plenty of masques and beads to go around! There will be live band entertainment by The Party Jammers, and photography by Shutter Shots by Susie Ricks. City Alderman and JA Life Member, Lana Nail, will be speaking about the importance of giving back to the community. Partygoers will also have the opportunity to bid on a variety of items in a silent auction. Although the ladies are still searching for items that will pique your interest, the current list includes original paintings, hotel accommodations, autographed sports items, photography sessions, gift certificates to local eateries, and personal care items. Tickets are on sale now for $100 per couple, or $65 for an individual. T-shirts are available for $15 with a ball ticket, or $20 without ball ticket. If you are interested in tickets, T-shirts, sponsorship, or donating an auction item, please contact the Junior Auxiliary at 662-501-0270 or [email protected].
